PSG win Ligue 1 while Juventus stay on track – European Football Roundup

There was plenty of action across all of Europe’s big leagues this weekend here’s a roundup of all the action that you might have missed.

Ligue 1

Ibra

PSG clinched their fourth consecutive Ligue 1 title on Sunday when they defeated Troys 9-0. Zlatan Ibrahimovic stole the show with four goals and an assist in the Parisians crushing victory over bottom of the table Troys. In one sense PSG’s dominance is a poor reflection especially when second placed Monaco are closer to the relegation zone than they are to first place.Nevertheless PSG now have six Ligue 1 titles to their name and I would bet against another next season. Here are all the results from Ligue 1 this weekend:

  • Lorient 1- 1 Marseille
  • GFC Ajaccio 1-0 Caen
  • Guingamp 2-0 Saint-Etienne
  • Montpellier 0-2 Nice
  • SC Bastia 1-2 Lille
  • Toulouse 4-0 Bordeaux
  • Troyes 0-9 PSG
  • Nantes 2-0 Angers
  • Rennes 2-2 Lyon.
