Sevilla re-sign Jesus Navas

Jesus Navas has returned to former club Sevilla on a free transfer.

Navas, 31, had been a free agent after being released by Manchester City at the end of last season, having joined from Sevilla in 2013.

But the Spain international has now returned to the Ramon Sanchez Pizjuan, signing a four-year deal with the La Liga club.

Navas, who made his Sevilla debut in 2003, is to be officially unveiled to the club’s supporters on Wednesday.

The club announced his return in sensational style releasing the video below on social media:

The winger will be looking to add to the 393 appearances he made for Sevilla in his first spell with his boyhood club as well as the 34 goals he scored for them.

Navas won two UEFA Cups, two Copas del Rey, the UEFA Super Cup and Spanish Super Cup during his first stint at Sevilla.

Navas’ arrival follows that of Nolito, who joined from City earlier this summer.
