Sick Kits of the week

Football kits are getting closer and closer to designs we are used to seeing on the catwalks of London,Paris or Milan. But sometimes the big companies get kits just right. Here are my favourite kits that were released recently.

Houston  Dynamo Away

Withe the new MLS season fast approaching Adidas are dropping new designs every week. Houston Dynamo will wear this beautiful black and orange kit next season.

New York City FC Away

This kit has divided opinions. It is certainly testing the boundaries of what  fans will wear. The spiral design radiates out from the crest. Love it? Hate it?

River Plate Home

The Argentinean side has released yet another beautiful kit. The sleek diagonal red band with a darker band along the top completes the stylish look. Next season’s Superclasico looks good already.

Rosario Central

Another Argentinean kit this time from Rosario Central. I love the navy and yellow combination and the crest is absolutely beautiful.

Its a tough call but if I could only have one of these I’d take the Dynamo away strip.

  • Great feature! I absolutely love the Rosario jersey, that colour combination is a touch of class! I like the NYFC design itself but the orange of the ethiad logo gets in the way and puts me off the whole thing.

    • Argentinian teams always impress me with their designs. I share your feelings towards the NYCFC kit. More teams need to take Roma’s approach of no shirt sponsor it makes the jersey look so clean.

      • Totally agree about the Roma way of doing things, but sponsors want to be visible, I don’t see it catching on anytime soon! 🙁
