Europa League Semi-final Draw

This morning the UEFA Europa League Semi-final draw took place in Nyon, Switzerland to determine the fixtures for the semi-finals. The draw is as follows:

Villarreal vs Liverpool

Shakhtar Donetsk vs Sevilla

High flying Villarreal will host a jubilant Liverpool side who pulled off a fantastic comeback at home against Borussia Dortmund to make it to this stage of the competition.Opponents Villarreal breezed past Prague to make it to the semis. Elsewhere defending champions Sevilla face a tricky trip to face Ukrainian superpower Shakhtar before welcoming Donetsk to the Sanchez Pizjuan stadium. Sevilla defeated Bibao on penalties last night while Shakthar demolished Braga.

The first legs take place on Thursday the 28th of April with the second legs scheduled to be played on Thursday the 5th of May.
