Kerry call on experience for Sunday’s clash with Down

Eamonn Fitzmaurice has opted to strengthen his team ahead of Kerry’s journey to face Down in Newry on Sunday by adding the experience of Marc O’Sé to the back line and by placing the returning Colm Cooper and Kieran Donaghey on the bench. Brendan Kealy is preferred in goal over Brian Kelly. Padraig O’Connor comes into the half back line in place of Paul Murphy who has moved into the attack and Fionn Fitzgerald also starts in the half back line instead  of the injured Killian Young. Captain Bryan Sheehan starts ahead of Johnny Buckley and will be partnered in midfield by David Moran. Fitzmaurice has also made changes to his forward line with Aidan Walsh coming in for Jonathan Lyne and Alan Fitzgerald has pushed Tommy Walsh onto the bench where he will join club mate Barry John Keane who has lost his starting position as a result of Paul Murphy’s move up field.
