Roscommon rout Cork while Kerry rebound – Allianz National League Roundup

Roscommon

Roscommon shocked Cork today as the westerners scored 4-25 to see off the home side’s impressive score of 3-10. Kerry kick started their National League campaign as they beat Down in Newry. The kingdom’s quality proved to be too much as they ran out 22 points to 6 winners. Donegal hosted Mayo today and the teams played out a cracking affair. The home side pipped it 1-14 to 1-12. Last night Dublin saw off a courageous Monagahan team with the All Ireland champions winning 1-14 to 16 points.

Division 2

Last night Armagh won a close encounter against Fermannagh. 1-10 to 12 points the final score. Meath were today beaten at home by Cavan 1-20 to 1-13 the winning margin.  Laois were beaten by Tyrone this afternoon a goal was all that separated the sides as it finished 1-14 to 14 points in Tyrone’s favour. Derry hosted Galway today and the visitors claimed a victory winning 1-18 to 2-12.

Division 3

Kildare

Offaly ran out 2 point winners over Sligo today in a 1-13 to 14 points victory despite being reduced to 14 men. Clare claimed a victory over neighbours Limerick with a winning score of 1-14 to 11 points. Kildare continued their unbeaten streak with a 2-11 to 10 points victory away over Longford. Tipperary and Westmeath could not be separated so they share the spoils after a 1-08 to 11 points draw.

Division 4

Div 4

In division 4 Antrim were home winners in a comfortable 2-14 to 9 point win over Leitrim. Louth won their third straight league game following a 15 point to 1-02 victory over Wicklow. Wexford easily beat London with a 4-20 to 1-06 scoreline. Waterford are tonight celebrating their first league win since January 2015 following their 3-15 to 15 point win against Carlow.
