Eddy Merckx hospitalised following crash
Legendary cyclist Eddy Merckx is in hospital with a head injury after falling off his bike during a ride with friends. The five-time Tour de France champion suffered a “serious head injury” and was “rushed to hospital” in Dendermonde, near Gent.
