Hansi Flick has named 17 year old Borussia Dortmund forward Youssoufa Moukoko in Germany’s squad for the World Cup in Qatar. Flick has also included Mario Gotze, scorer of the winning goal in the 2014 final, in his squad which is Gotze’s first call up in five years.

Germany last triumphed in 2014 in Brazil with each player taking home €300,000 a semi-final spot will see them pocket €150,000, a third place finish €200,000 and if they were to lose the final they would get €250,000.

Germany came from a goal down to defeat Portugal 4-2 to reignite their Euro 2020 campaign. Cristiano Ronaldo opened the scoring for Portugal but own goals from Ruben Dias and Raphael Guerreiro put the Germans ahead who added further through Kai Havert and Robin Gosens.
