Champions League Group Stage draw
The Groups for this seasons Champions League were drawn this evening in Monaco and have lined up some fascinating encounters.
Group A will see Portuguese champions SL Benfica take on Europa League champions Manchester United, Swiss side FC Basel and CSKA Moscow.
Group B will see two European powerhouses going head to head with Bayern Munich and Paris Saint-Germain. They will also face Belgian champions Anderlecht and Scottish champions Celtic.
Group C features the Premier League champions Chelsea, Diego Simeone’s Atletico Madrid, AS Roma and Azerbaijani champions Qarabag FK.
Group D features the Italian Champions Juventus who will face familiar foes FC Barcelona as well as Greek champions Olympiacos and Portuguese side Sporting Lisbon.
Group E sees Russian champions Spartak Moscow take on La liga side Sevilla, Jurgen Klopp’s Liverpool and Slovenian champions Maribor.
Group F will play host to Ukrainian champions Shahtar Donetsk, Pep Guardiola’s Manchester City, Serie A side Napoli and Dutch champions Feyenoord.
Group G will see French champions AS Monaco take on FC Porto, Turkish champions Besiktas and German side RB Leipzig
Group H is the ‘Group of Death’ with defending champions Real Madrid taking on Borussia Dortmund, Tottenham Hotspur and Cypriot side APOEL Nicosia.
