Champions League Quarterfinal draw

This morning the UEFA Champions League Quarterfinal draw took place in Nyon, Switzerland to determine the fixtures for the quarterfinals. The draw is as follows:

Wolfsburg vs Real Madrid

Bayern Munich vs Benfica

FC Barcelona vs Atletico Madrid

PSG vs Manchester City

Real Madrid have received the easiest team on paper in the draw as this is Wolfsburg’s first appearance in the last eight of the competition. Bayern Munich have also dodged some big names drawing Portuguese side Benfica. The all Spanish affair of FC Barcelona vs Atletico Madrid looks to be a sensational game. The two sides met at this stage of the competition in 2014 with Atletico winning. PSG will host Manchester City as the Premier League side look to progress deeper into the competition.

The first legs will be played on the 5th and 6th of April with the second legs being played on the 12th and 13th of April.
