Kieran O’Leary dropped from Kerry panel

Kerry manager Eamonn Fitzmaurice has dropped 2014 All Ireland winner captain Kieran O’Leary  from his panel. This latest departure adds to the Kingdom’s shake-up after Tommy Walsh walked away from the team last week.

The 28-year old missed all of last season due to a ruptured achilles tendon and had not made a return to the starting team.The Dr Crokes man co-captained the team to All Ireland glory alongside Fionn Fitzgearld in 2014. With the Munster championship fast approaching Fitzmaurice has reportedly axed O’Leary along with Pa Kilkenny, Paul O’Sullivan,Aidan Walsh and Jack Sherwood.

Kerry will face either Clare or Limerick in the Munster SFC semi-final in Killarney on the 12th of June.
