Kasper Asgreen (EF Education-EasyPost) claimed a dramatic win in Stage 14 of the 2025 Giro d’Italia on Saturday afternoon. There was a huge crash due to the wet conditions which enabled Asgreen to take advantage and power his way through to the finish. Race leader Isaac del Toro (UAE Team Emirates-XRG) managed to avoid the crash and further extend his lead as his rivals endured a tough afternoon.

Pedersen pips Van Aert in uphill sprint on stage 13 – Giro d’Italia

Majestic Mads Pedersen (Lidl-Trek) surged to a fourth win in the Giro d’Italia after outkicking Wout van Aert (Visma-Lease a Bike) and pink jersey Isaac del Toro (UAE Emirates-XRG) on the uphill finish at Vicenza. It was a fifth win of the race for the Danish powerhouse’s Lidl-Trek team. Bonus seconds saw Del Toro extend his general classification lead to 38 seconds over team-mate Juan Ayuso.

Olav Kooij sprints to victory on stage 12 – Giro d’Italia

Dutchman Olav Kooij finished off a fine team effort from Visma-Lease a Bike to win Stage 12 of the Giro d’Italia in Viadana. Kooij launched from the wheel of team-mate Wout van Aert and rounded compatriot Casper van Uden to take his first win of the race. After the expected crosswind chaos did not materialise, Isaac del Toro took two bonus seconds to strengthen his grip on the maglia rosa.

Richard Carapaz solos to stage 11 victory – Giro d’Italia

Richard Carapaz won Stage 11 of the Giro d’Italia with a gutsy late attack to reignite his GC battle after a tough day in the Apennines. The Ecuadorian snared his first Giro win since becoming champion in 2019 and moved up to sixth place. Mexico’s Isaac del Toro extended his lead over team-mate Juan Ayuso by winning the sprint for second place.
