EURO 2016 Day 10 Preview

The group stage of EURO 2016 is coming to a close with the standings in Group A set to be finalised in tonight’s simultaneous games. Here’s your preview of today’s fixtures.

Switzerland take on France in what is set to be an exciting game. The Swiss defeated Albania in their opening game before struggling to earn a draw with Romania which has them in second place with four points. France won their two opening games but left it late on both occasions. France are already through to the last 16 with 6 points but the Swiss will look to sneak top spot with a win tonight. France have never lost a competitive game against the Swiss and it is unlikely that will happen tonight although a draw is not out of the question.

Romania have sit on one point following their draw with Switzerland and their opening defeat to France. The Romanians haven’t scored a goal from play with Bogdan Stancu converting two penalties one in each game. Albania have been a spirited side all tournament losing to the Swiss with ten men while pushing France to the very limit in the last round. A win for Albania would delight the nation but Romania have looked to be quite a good side going forward. Expect both teams to give 100% tonight with a few goals between them.
