Olav Kooij appeared out of nowhere to win the bunch sprint after a thrilling finish saw escapee Jhonatan Narvaez caught just metres from the line. Tadej Pogacar continued his dominance at the Giro d’Italia with his third stage victory in Stage 8 at Prati di Tivo ahead of Dani Martinez.
