Tim Merlier won a dramatic stage three of the Tour de France as a string of crashes caused chaos in the final 10 kilometres. Egan Bernal wins Giro d’Italia as Ganna claims stage 21

Egan Bernal has won the 2021 Giro d’Italia following Stage 21 in Milan. The Colombian Ineos Grenadiers rider safely navigated the final stage time trial to finish ahead of Damiano Caruso (Bahrain Victorious) in second and Simon Yates (BikeExchange) making up the podium in third. Bernal’s team-mate Filippo Ganna claimed the stage win.
