Niclas Füllkrug scored a brilliant first half winner as Borussia Dortmund beat Paris Saint Germain 1-0 in a frenetic first leg of their Champions League semi-final. The German international used his right foot to expertly bring down a long ball before hammering home with his left. Borussia Dortmund reached the Champions League quarter-finals for the first time in three years thanks to goals from Jadon Sancho and Marco Reus against PSV Eindhoven. Sancho’s low driving shot from the edge of the area gave Dortmund the lead in the third minute, PSV had chances to level it but a late Marco Reus goal ended their European campaign.
