Italy scored twice in extra-time through Federico Chiesa and Matteo Pessina to progress to the quarter-finals of Euro 2020. Austria scored in normal time but saw the goal ruled out for offside and a late goal from Sasa Kalajdzic made life difficult for Italy who survived to book a match with either Belgium or Portugal.

Kasper Dolberg struck a double with Joakim Mæhle and Martin Braithwaite adding a late on for Denmark who beat Wales to reach the quarter-finals of Euro 2020. The Danes dominated the game and will face Netherlands or Czech Republic in the next round.
