Arsenal made a bitterly disappointing exit from the Champions League as they were beaten by Bayern Munich in a euphoric atmosphere at Allianz Arena. Thomas Tuchel to leave Bayern Munich at end of season

Manager Thomas Tuchel will leave Bayern Munich at the end of the season. The 50-year-old replaced Julian Nagelsmann at the German champions in March 2023 on a deal until June 2025. The former Chelsea boss will depart a year earlier than planned as part of “a sporting realignment” at Bayern.

Bayern Munich failed to close the gap on Bundesliga leaders Bayer Leverkusen as they crumbled to a 3-2 defeat to struggling Bochum on Sunday. Jamal Musiala gave the visitors the lead with his sixth goal of the season (14) but after a lengthy fan protest delayed proceedings, Bochum levelled when Takuma Asano found the bottom corner from Anthony Losilla’s pass (38).
