Ireland overcome stubborn Scotland to clinch Triple Crown

Ireland kept their hopes of clinching the Six Nations alive with a 43-21 victory over Scotland at the Aviva Stadium, a result which secured the Triple Crown. After beating England, Wales, and now Scotland, Ireland have picked up a fourth Triple Crown in the last five years. The victory also means they will spend their evening supporting England in their match against France which concludes this year’s tournament. An England win would be enough for Ireland to clinch the Championship thanks to their Dublin victory, secured with a bonus point.

Ireland demolish England in record victory at Twickenham

Ireland delivered a statement performance for the ages to stun England and claim a record Six Nations win at Twickenham. Andy Farrell’s under pressure team scored five tries as they completely out-played the hosts, who had won their last nine home games going back to 2024. Man of the match Jamison Gibson-Park, Rob Baloucoune and Tommy O’Brien all scored first-half tries with Jack Crowley’s kicks giving Ireland a 22-7 lead.

Hansen grabs hat-trick as Ireland hammer Australia

Mack Hansen scored a superb first-half hat-trick to help lift Ireland to a comprehensive win over Australia in an entertaining Test at Aviva Stadium. Starting an Ireland game at full-back for the first time, Canberra-born Hansen starred in a slick Irish attack on his return from a foot injury with three tries inside the opening 30 minutes. The Wallabies – coached by former Ireland boss Joe Schmidt – stayed in touch at half-time thanks to Len Ikitau and Fraser McReight tries.
