The Williams Formula 1 team have been bought by US-based investment firm Dorilton Capital after being put up for sale in May. The Williams name will remain in place, with the new owners saying they have no plans to relocate from their traditional base in Grove, Oxfordshire.

Williams Racing has confirmed that Britain’s George Russell and Canada’s Nicholas Latifi will continue to remain with the team for next season of Formula One. The move means Valtteri Bottas is likely to remain at Mercedes.
Though Russell had signed a multi-year deal with the team till the end of 2021, there were speculation of his possible move to Mercedes’ works team.
