Paris Saint Germain were crowned kings of Europe for the first time with a thumping 5-0 Champions League final victory over Inter Milan in Munich. Achraf Hakimi and Desire Doue struck inside the opening 20 minutes to reward a dominant start as PSG became only the second French side to win the trophy after Marseille in 1993. Inter were unable to get a foothold in the game as the Parisians turned on the style in the second half to record a resounding win.

Paris Saint Germain have announced the signing of Lionel Messi on a free transfer with the Argentine signing a two year deal at the Parc des Princes with an option for a third. The 34 year old will wear the number 30 jersey for the French giants as he adapts to live outside Barcelona.

Spanish defender Sergio Ramos has signed a two year deal at Paris Saint Germain joining from Real Madrid on a free contract. The 35 year old was captain of Real Madrid for several years who he joined from Sevilla in 2005.
