Mercedes’ George Russell rose from P3 to win the Sprint Race in Sao Paulo ahead of Ferrari’s Carlos Sainz and his Silver Arrows teammate Lewis Hamilton. Red Bull’s Max Verstappen finished P4 after picking up damage when passed by Sainz, the Spaniard however is taking a grid penalty meaning an all Mercedes front row.

Kevin Magnussen claimed both his and Haas’ first Formula 1 pole as wet conditions set up a thrilling upset in Qualifying at the Sao Paulo Grand Prix. Magnussen will start Saturday’s Sprint in Brazil at the front of the grid, with world champion Max Verstappen second for Red Bull.

Max Verstappen overcame a strong challenge from Mercedes to beat George Russell to pole position for Red Bull at the Mexico City Grand Prix. The Dutchman saw off Russell and Hamilton with his teammate and home favourite Sergio Perez starting P4 tomorrow.

Ferrari’s Carlos Sainz took pole position ahead of the US Grand Prix ahead of his teammate Charles Leclerc and Red Bull’s Max Verstappen. Leclerc will however take a grid penalty as will Sergio Perez meaning Mercedes Lewis Hamilton will start P3 behind Sainz and Verstappen.
