Tiger Woods arrested and charged following crash in Florida

Golfer Tiger Woods has been charged with driving under the influence after a car crash in Florida, police say. The Martin County Sheriff’s Office said the 15-time major champion had also been charged with property damage and refusal to submit to a lawful test. Woods, 50, passed a breathalyser test after the crash on Jupiter Island on Friday, but refused a urine test having had to crawl out of the passenger side of his vehicle after colliding with a pressure cleaner truck.

Tiger Woods named on entry list for The Masters

Tiger Woods has been included in an 85-man field for the Masters published on the tournament’s official website. Woods has not competed since withdrawing from February’s Genesis Invitational due to illness after six holes of his second round. It was the 48-year-old’s first PGA Tour event of the season and just his second tournament since undergoing ankle surgery in April last year after withdrawing from the Masters during the third round.
