Pogačar lays down marker with commanding win in the Pyrenees on stage 6 – Tour de France

Tadej Pogačar stormed to victory on stage six of the 2026 Tour de France, ripping up the general classification in the process, and taking back the yellow jersey on Thursday. The UAE Team Emirates-XRG rider flew away on the Col du Tourmalet, 43km from the finish, and put over two minutes into his closest rival, Jonas Vingegaard (Visma-Lease a Bike), by the finish. It is his 23rd stage win at the race, and second of this Tour already.

Olav Kooij wins bunch sprint in Pau on stage 5 – Tour de France

Dutch rider Olav Kooij won a bunch sprint finish after a crash in a chaotic conclusion to stage five of the Tour de France. The 24-year-old, who is competing at the event for the first time, held off Germany’s Max Kanter, with Belgium’s Tim Merlier crossing the line in third. Norway’s Torstein Traeen retained the overall race leader’s yellow jersey despite being caught up in a pile up just over five kilometres from end of the 158.3km run from Lannemezan to Pau.

Mads Pedersen sprints to victory on stage 4 – Tour de France

Mads Pedersen sprinted clear from a breakaway to win the fourth stage of the Tour de France as defending champion Tadej Pogacar lost the yellow jersey and slipped to fourth. Dane Pedersen timed his run for the line at the end of the 181.9km stage to perfection as temperatures reached 40C in southern France. Uno-X Mobility rider Torstein Traeen is the new race leader after finishing eighth in the stage – almost 13 minutes ahead of the peloton.
