Formula 1 has revealed a record race calendar for 2023, with the sport set to hold 24 races in a season for the very first time. Alex Albon set to leave hospital after suffering anaesthetic complications

Williams driver Alex Albon suffered respiratory failure and was treated in intensive care following appendix surgery at the weekend. The 26-year-old had an operation on Saturday but suffered “post-operative anaesthetic complications” and was put on a ventilator.
