Fernando Alonso has made it clear he is annoyed with claims that he could switch to Red Bull from Aston Martin. Stories that he could replace Sergio Perez emerged in the wake of last weekend’s Mexico City Grand Prix. Alonso said he was “not enjoying” it, and dismissed the idea as “the normal paddock rumours from people who try to make fun of it and gain some followers”.

Charles Leclerc led Carlos Sainz to a surprising Ferrari one-two in qualifying for the Mexico City Grand Prix. The Scuderia’s pace came out of nowhere as Leclerc pipped Sainz by 0.067 seconds while Red Bull’s Max Verstappen was 0.097secs off the lead in third. Hamilton and Leclerc disqualified from US Grand Prix for technical breach

Lewis Hamilton lost his second-place finish at the United States Grand Prix after being disqualified when his Mercedes failed a physical floor and plank wear inspection after Sunday’s race. Verstappen charges from P6 to win US Grand Prix ahead of Hamilton

Max Verstappen climbed up from sixth on the grid to win the US Grand Prix after a close battle with McLaren’s Lando Norris and the Mercedes of Lewis Hamilton. Verstappen was measured, slowly picking off the cars in front of him and then managing his pace to take a 14th victory of his record-breaking season.
