The 22 year old Slovenian international is viewed as a potential replacement for want-a-way forward Alexander Isak but the Bundesliga club have also received an offer from Manchester United who are eager to bolster their attacking options ahead of the new season.

South Korea international Son Heung-Min is poised to sign with MLS side LAFC, with an unveiling happening as soon as Wednesday. Son, 33, announced his departure from Premier League side Tottenham Hotspur last weekend, concluding a 10-year spell at the London club, though at the time he didn’t specify his next destination.

Luis Díaz joins Bayern Munich in €75m deal from Liverpool

German champions Bayern Munich have sealed the signing of Liverpool forward Luis Diaz. The Colombian spent three-and-a-half seasons at Anfield, winning the Premier League, FA Cup and two League Cups after his move from FC Porto in January 2022. Diaz was also a part of the side that reached the 2022 UEFA Champions League final. He scored 41 goals in 148 total appearances for Liverpool.

James Trafford rejoins Man City from Burnley

Manchester City have re-signed goalkeeper James Trafford from Burnley. Trafford has signed a five-year deal with the option of an extra year and will compete with Ederson for the No 1 shirt under Pep Guardiola. Stefan Ortega, who started 13 games in the Premier League last season, is expected to leave the club, but an exit is not close to being agreed.

Marcus Rashford joins FC Barcelona on loan from Man United

Marcus Rashford says he feels like he is “at home” at Barcelona after completing a season-long loan move to the La Liga club. The 27-year-old has joined on an initial 12-month loan from Manchester United, with the Catalan giants having the option of signing the England international on a permanent basis for £30.3m (35m euros) in 2026. He is the first English player to sign for Barcelona since Gary Lineker in 1986.
