Nuno Mendes struck deep into stoppage time to give Paris St-Germain a significant advantage against Aston Villa in the Champions League quarter-final first leg at Parc des Princes. Inter Milan struck late to put themselves in a strong position to advance into the Champions League semi-finals after winning the first leg of their last-eight tie at Bayern Munich. The German hosts dominated the opening half hour but fell behind to a superb strike from Lautaro Martinez however Thomas Müller brought the hosts level late on.
