Nottingham Forest have confirmed the appointment of Vítor Pereira as their fourth head coach of the season. The former Wolves manager takes over from Sean Dyche, who was sacked on Thursday, on a contract until June 2027. Pereira inherits a team one place and three points above the relegation zone. Dyche lasted 25 matches after replacing Ange Postecoglou, who was given eight games as the successor to Nuno Espírito Santo.

Nottingham Forest are looking for their fourth head coach of a turbulent season after sacking Sean Dyche. Dyche was relieved of his duties in the wake of a goalless Premier League draw with bottom side Wolves on Wednesday night, having been in charge at the City Ground for just 114 days. Forest’s failure to convert any of their numerous chances against Wolves left them three points clear of the relegation zone.

Rob Edwards confirmed as new Wolves head coach

Wolves have appointed Rob Edwards as their new head coach after he left Middlesbrough to join the Premier League’s bottom side. Edwards has signed a three-and-a-half-year deal at Molineux. The 42-year-old had been in talks with Wolves since Saturday after he was stood down from Boro’s Championship game against Birmingham and was given permission to speak to Wolves.

Gary O’Neil has withdrawn from the process to become the new Wolves head coach after holding talks with his former club. Wolves have sacked head coach Vitor Pereira after their winless start to the Premier League season continued with a 3-0 defeat at Fulham on Saturday. Wolves’ defeat at Craven Cottage followed a first-half red card to defender Emmanuel Agbadou, with Pereira subjected to chants of “you’re getting sacked in the morning” by the travelling fans. The Portuguese tactician signed a new contract at the Molineux just 45 days ago.
