Jarrod Bowen is set for a spell on the sidelines after fracturing his left foot during West Ham’s 5-0 defeat to Liverpool. The 28-year-old limped off in the 60th minute as Julen Lopetegui’s side were hammered at the London Stadium and no timescale has been given for his return.

West Ham forward Michail Antonio is in a stable condition following a road traffic accident, the Premier League club have announced. The 34-year-old is conscious after being taken to hospital in London following the incident in Essex on Saturday afternoon. The update was issued after images of a heavily-damaged Ferrari began to circulate online.

West Ham United have confirmed that Julen Lopetegui has taken over as manager after David Moyes’s exit at the end of the Premier League season. Lopetegui has managed Spain and Real Madrid but was most recently with Wolves, stepping down on the eve of the new season in August 2023. The 57-year-old previously guided Sevilla to the Europa League title in 2019-20, as well as consecutive finishes in the top four of Spain’s La Liga.
