The 56 year old Spaniard was sacked by Sevilla last month and was immediately approached by Wolves to take over from Bruno Lage but he rejected their offer before initiating talks with Wolves in recent days.

Nuno Espirito Santo named new Tottenham manager

Tottenham Hotspur have ended their long search for a new manager by announcing the appointment of former Wolves boss Nuno Espirito Santo as their new manager. The 47 year old Portuguese has signed a two year deal at the London club and replaces Ryan Mason who has been caretaker coach since the sacking of Jose Mourinho.
