Everton defeat Arsenal adding to Gunners’ woes

Everton moved up to second in the Premier League while piling more misery on Arsenal with a 2-1 victory at Goodison Park. Everton took the lead when a Dominic Calvert-Lewin header deflected off Rob Holding and into his own net but Arsenal levelled with Nicolas Pepe. However Yerry Mina scored the winner for the Toffees before the break.

Sergio Perez joins Red Bull replacing Alex Albon

Sergio Perez will partner Max Verstappen at Red Bull for the 2021 Formula 1 season. The Mexican replaces Alexander Albon who will remain at the team as a reserve driver. 30 year old Perez was set to leave the sport after Racing Point signed Sebastian Vettel however Albon’s disappointing season opened the door for him to remain in the sport.

Bayern Munich striker Robert Lewandowski has been named the FIFA Best Player of the Year for 2020 beating Lionel Messi and Cristiano Ronaldo to the award. Liverpool’s Jurgen Klopp was named manager of the year while Lucy Bronze was named FIFA Women’s Player of the Year.
