FIA reveals regulations for 2026 Formula 1 season

The FIA has revealed Formula 1’s new regulations in 2026 will see a downsizing of the current cars in an attempt to produce closer racing. Redesigned power units will possess almost 300 per cent more battery power with an even split between internal combustion and electric power, while the cars will run on 100 per cent sustainable fuel. The new, smaller machinery follow a “nimble car” concept that will see weight reduced by 30 kilograms and the width of the vehicles reduced.

Former FIA President Max Mosley dies aged 81

Formula One’s former head Max Mosley, has died after suffering from cancer, according to his family. Fellow Formula One figurehead Bernie Ecclestone paid tribute to his friend, who had a controversial history and an antagonistic relationship with the British press in his later years.
