The Premier League has introduced additional rules and regulations, including a new owners’ charter, to stop future attempts to join a breakaway Super League. The FA meanwhile has launched a formal inquiry into the role played by Premier League clubs in the attempt to create a breakaway European Super League.

Manchester City announce withdrawal from Super League
