Shane Lowry will make his second appearance at the Ryder Cup while Ludvig Aberg will make his debut for Team Europe, less than four months into his professional career, after being named as one of Luke Donald’s six captain’s picks. The six automatic qualifiers were confirmed after Sunday’s Omega European Masters, with Rory McIlroy, Jon Rahm and Robert MacIntyre qualifying via the European Points List and Viktor Hovland, Tyrrell Hatton and Matt Fitzpatrick earning their spots via the World Points List.

Primož Roglič prevails to win stage 8 as Kuss takes Red Jersey – Vuelta a Espana

Primoz Roglic overtook Remco Evenepoel and won a sprint for the line to claim victory on the eighth stage of the Vuelta a Espana. Roglic went past his rival at the final corner before winning the 165km stage from Denia to Xorret de Cati while American Sepp Kuss took the overall lead.
