Mesut Ozil has signed for Fenerbahce after Arsenal agreed to let the midfielder leave the Emirates. Ozil’s Arsenal deal was not due to expire until the summer, but the club wanted him to leave in January. He was Arsenal’s highest earner on £350,000 per week and had not played for the Gunners since March.

Luis Suarez is set to move to Atletico Madrid after they agreed a fee with Barcelona. Barca announced that they had agreed a deal which would see the Catalan club receive €6m. Suarez spent six successful years at the Camp Nou scoring 198 goals.
