José Mourinho to be unveiled as Fenerbahce manager

Jose Mourinho is set to be named manager of Turkish Super Lig side Fenerbahce. The 61 year old has been out of work since he was sacked by AS Roma in January. A serial winner, Mourinho will replace Ismail Kartal, who left Fenerbahce on Friday after they finished second in the league to city rivals Galatasaray, despite losing just one game and recording 99 points last term.

Mesut Özil leaves Arsenal to join Fenerbahçe

Mesut Ozil has signed for Fenerbahce after Arsenal agreed to let the midfielder leave the Emirates. Ozil’s Arsenal deal was not due to expire until the summer, but the club wanted him to leave in January. He was Arsenal’s highest earner on £350,000 per week and had not played for the Gunners since March.
