Luis Díaz joins Bayern Munich in €75m deal from Liverpool

German champions Bayern Munich have sealed the signing of Liverpool forward Luis Diaz. The Colombian spent three-and-a-half seasons at Anfield, winning the Premier League, FA Cup and two League Cups after his move from FC Porto in January 2022. Diaz was also a part of the side that reached the 2022 UEFA Champions League final. He scored 41 goals in 148 total appearances for Liverpool.

Liverpool have formally rejected an approach from Bayern Munich for their 28-year-old Colombian winger Luis Diaz. Bayern’s recruitment chief Max Eberl was informed that Liverpool have no intention or desire to enter discussions, with communication ended immediately.
