Manchester City have confirmed the signing of AC Milan midfielder Tijjani Reijnders for an initial fee of £46.5m on a five-year contract. Man City have agreed a deal worth up to £36.3m for Wolves left-back Rayan Ait Nouri. The 23-year-old is now free to discuss personal terms and undergo a medical. City are hopeful of getting Ait Nouri’s medical completed and the deal finalised before Tuesday’s 7pm deadline which will allow him to play in the Club World Cup.

Liverpool have told Barcelona that Luis Díaz is not for sale after rejecting the Spanish champions’ first approach for the Colombia international. Barcelona’s sporting director, Deco, contacted Liverpool officials on Wednesday to discuss the possible transfer of Díaz, who also has interest from the Saudi Pro League. However, Deco was informed Liverpool have no intention of selling the 28-year-old.

Chelsea have strengthened their attack by completing the £30m signing of Liam Delap from Ipswich. The club were determined to bring in a new striker this summer and have moved swiftly to secure one of their top targets. Ipswich have sealed the £8m signing of Luton winger Chiedozie Ogbene. The Ireland international, 27, has signed a four-year deal at Portman Road and becomes their 10th signing since they returned to the Premier League. The Tractor Boys had been looking for another forward despite spending almost £100m this summer, after winger Wes Burns suffered a hamstring injury in the 2-0 opening day defeat by Liverpool.
