Liverpool have appointed Andoni Iraola as their head coach on a two-year contract following the sacking of Arne Slot. The Reds announced Slot’s exit on Saturday, a year after the Dutchman guided them to the Premier League title, and have moved swiftly to bring in a successor. Mohamed Salah is set to leave Liverpool at the end of this season, the Premier League club have announced. The 33-year-old arrived at Anfield from Roma in 2017 and has made 435 appearances for Liverpool, scoring 255 goals. Arne Slot claimed he had no outstanding issues with Mohamed Salah and would see the Egypt international after the Africa Cup of Nations following the forward’s positive return for Liverpool against Brighton.
