Former Scotland, Manchester United and Manchester City striker Denis Law – the only Scottish player to have won the Ballon d’Or – has died at the age of 84. The man dubbed ‘The King’ and ‘The Lawman’ spent 11 years at Old Trafford, his 237 goals in 404 appearances placing him third in United’s history behind Wayne Rooney and Bobby Charlton.

Droppings were discovered on a recent visit by hygiene inspectors and the club slapped with a two-star rating, way short of the maximum five. Marcus Rashford ready to leave Man United for a ‘new challenge’

Marcus Rashford has admitted he is ready to leave Manchester United and take on a “new challenge”. Rashford was left out of the squad for Sunday’s Manchester derby by Ruben Amorim, although the head coach insisted there were no disciplinary issues behind his decision but he appeared to hint he had hoped to see more from the England player on and off the pitch during his first few weeks in charge.
