Roman Yaremchuk scored a crucial winner for Ukraine as they came from behind to beat Slovakia and keep their Euro 2024 campaign alive. Ivan Schranz scored after 17 minutes to put Slovakia in front, with his second goal in as many games, before Ukraine came back to seal a huge victory. Mykola Shaparenko started the fightback in the 54th minute with Yaremchuk finding the winner in the final ten minutes.

Premier League leaders Arsenal survived a second-half scare at Tottenham to hold on for a 3-2 north London derby victory that cemented their place at the top. A 23-minute blitz saw the Gunners race into a 3-0 lead through a Pierre-Emile Hojbjerg own goal, Bukayo Saka finish and Kai Havertz header but an error from David Raya opened the door for Spurs to hit back through Cristian Romero and a Heung-min Son penalty.

Manchester City bounced back from the disappointment of the Champions League quarter-final exit to Real Madrid as Bernardo Silva’s late goal sunk Chelsea at Wembley to seal a place in the FA Cup final. It was redemption for Silva after his poor spot-kick played a key role in City’s loss on penalties to Real. The Portuguese midfielder turned in the winner at the far post from Kevin de Bruyne’s cross six minutes from time.

Liverpool and City share spoils as Arsenal stay top

Liverpool and Manchester City fought out a thrilling draw at Anfield to leave Arsenal top of the Premier League. John Stones had given City a first half lead from a well worked corner routine however an early second half penalty conceded by Ederson allowed Alexis Mac Allister to restore parity from the spot. Both sides saw chances to take three points but in the end the spoils were shared.
