Manchester United dragged their season out of the ashes in quite extraordinary fashion as they scored twice in stoppage time of extra time to complete a staggering comeback from 4-2 down against 10-man Lyon at Old Trafford. Onana error hands Lyon late leveller against United

Manchester United goalkeeper Andre Onana was at fault for two goals as a last-gasp Lyon equaliser put Manchester United’s Europa League quarter-final tie in the balance at the halfway stage. United went behind after 25 minutes when under-pressure Onana failed to get a strong enough hand to Thiago Almada’s wide free-kick. Narrow win not enough as Atalanta dump Liverpool out of Europe

Liverpool’s hopes of ending Jurgen Klopp’s reign with a European trophy are over after they failed to overturn a first-leg deficit against Atalanta.
