It was a day to remember for Georg Steinhauser as he claimed his first professional win on the five-star mountain stage to Passo del Brocon. The 22-year-old, who caught the eye of race leader Tadej Pogacar last week with third place on the queen stage, rode solo for 34 kilometres to take an impressive victory. Meanwhile, Pogacar put more time into Dani Martinez and Geraint Thomas.
