Everton defeat Arsenal adding to Gunners’ woes

Everton moved up to second in the Premier League while piling more misery on Arsenal with a 2-1 victory at Goodison Park. Everton took the lead when a Dominic Calvert-Lewin header deflected off Rob Holding and into his own net but Arsenal levelled with Nicolas Pepe. However Yerry Mina scored the winner for the Toffees before the break.

Nicolas Pepe bounced back from his red card at the weekend finding the back of the net as Arsenal booked their place in the knockout stages of the Europa League with a 3-0 win over Molde. Reiss Nelson and Florian Balogun were the other scorers.
