Tottenham took a big step towards the Europa League final with a deserved first-leg win over Norwegian side Bodo/Glimt – but a late goal just leaves a little window of doubt. It was one of Spurs’ best performances of a wretched season domestically and leaves them two games away from a first trophy since 2008. Marcus Rashford likely to miss rest of season

Marcus Rashford is expected to miss the rest of Aston Villa’s season because of the hamstring injury that forced him out of their FA Cup semi-final defeat by Crystal Palace on Saturday. The on-loan England forward will have a scan but is not thought to require surgery. There is a slim possibility Rashford, whose injury rehabilitation will take place at Villa, could return to face Tottenham on 18 May.

Manchester United dragged their season out of the ashes in quite extraordinary fashion as they scored twice in stoppage time of extra time to complete a staggering comeback from 4-2 down against 10-man Lyon at Old Trafford.
