Paris Saint Germain were crowned kings of Europe for the first time with a thumping 5-0 Champions League final victory over Inter Milan in Munich. Achraf Hakimi and Desire Doue struck inside the opening 20 minutes to reward a dominant start as PSG became only the second French side to win the trophy after Marseille in 1993. Inter Milan produced a dramatic late turnaround to beat FC Barcelona 7-6 on aggregate in a thrilling, all-time classic of a Champions League semi-final. Inter had raced into a two goal lead in the first half but Barcelona found themselves minutes away from their first final appearances in 10 years thanks to a second half fightback. Barcelona twice came from behind against Inter Milan to snatch a draw in a six-goal first-leg thriller to leave their Champions League semi-final finely poised. Inter stunned the hosts after just 30 seconds when Marcus Thuram flicked home from a cross and were in dreamland when Denzel Dumfries extended their lead. Inter Milan reached the Champions League semi-finals with a 4-3 aggregate win over Bayern Munich after an enthralling 2-2 draw in the second leg of their quarterfinal tie at the San Siro. Harry Kane ingnited hopes of a Bayern fightback before Lautaro Martinez and Benjamin Pavard struck for the home side. Eric Dier would level for the Bavarians but they were unable to force extra-time.
