Pep Guardiola signs two year contract extension at Manchester City

Manchester City manager Pep Guardiola says he has “everything a manager could ever wish for” after signing a two-year contract extension to keep him at the club until 2027. The 53-year-old Spaniard joined City in 2016 and has won 18 trophies, including six Premier League titles. His contract had been due to expire at the end of the current season.

Brighton comeback sees City’s losing streak continue

Pep Guardiola fell to a fourth successive defeat for the first time as Manchester City boss as Brighton came from behind to beat his Premier League champions. It is the first time since 2006 that City have lost four in a row. Salah salvages draw for Liverpool at Arsenal

Mohamed Salah scored a late equaliser as Liverpool came from behind twice to earn a point at title rivals Arsenal. Bukayo Saka had given the home side an early lead before Virgil Van Dijk headed Livepool level. Mikel Moreno rose highest from a set piece before the interval to restore the Gunners’ lead but Salah was the saviour once again to see the spoils shared.
