Brennan Johnson completes £35m move from Spurs to Palace

Crystal Palace have completed the £35m club-record signing of Tottenham winger Brennan Johnson. The 24-year-old becomes Palace’s record signing, surpassing the £32m the Eagles paid Liverpool for Christian Benteke in the summer of 2016. The Wales international could make his debut as early as Sunday when Palace head to St James Park to face Newcastle United.

Wolves have rejected a £50m bid from Newcastle for Jorgen Strand Larsen. Wolves’ position is that he is not for sale in this window. They believe he is too important and the lack of time left in the window is not enough to find a Premier League-ready replacement.
