Kai Havertz scored a stoppage-time winner as Arsenal beat Chelsea to secure their place in the Carabao Cup final for the first time in eight years. Arsenal came into this match with a 3-2 lead after the first leg and dominated the opening part of the match – but with Chelsea lining up with a back five, chances in the first hour of the game were hard to come by. Crystal Palace have completed the club-record £48m signing of Wolves striker Jorgen Strand Larsen. Palace have paid a fixed fee of £43m for the striker plus £5m in potential add-ons. Strand Larsen leaves the Premier League’s bottom club Wolves after 18 months. Palace have now broken their transfer record twice in this window following the purchase of Brennan Johnson from Tottenham Hotspur.
